Mindspace to open a further co-working location in Berlin

The flexible workspace provider Mindspace plans to open a further location in Berlin this year in the central Hackescher Markt district of the city. A listed former department store dating back to 1913 at the corner of Münzstrasse and Max-Beer-Strasse will be refurbished to provide 4,100 m² of office space over five floors and create 700 workspaces. 

This will be the seventh location in Berlin for Mindspace and the thirteenth in Germany. Mindspace has recently opened a location at Zimmerstrasse in the Mitte district of Berlin and a further location in the ‘Fürst’ development on the famous Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. Mindspace now operates more than 40 locations in 20 different cities across seven countries in Europe, the Middle East and USA. 

SteadWay has been appointed by Mindspace to act as Project Manager for the new office at Hackescher Markt. Commenting on the new commission, David Lees, CEO of SteadWay stated, “We are delighted to have been selected as Project Manager by Mindspace to work on the conversion of this historic building in the heart of Berlin.
