Sonoco opens new production facility in Lübeck

Sonoco Consumer Products Europe, a global leader in consumer packaging, has officially opened a new, 22,000 m² purpose-built production and storage facility at the Semiramis Business Park in Lübeck. Developed exclusively for Sonoco by DUDOQ, the handover of the facility was completed in early 2024, with full production commencing in the summer of 2024.

This modern facility, which achieved DGNB Gold and ESG certification, includes a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 750 kWp, underscoring Sonoco’s commitment to sustainability.

SteadWay provided expert Technical Management services throughout the construction phase, facilitating both the successful handover and Sonoco’s seamless transition to the new facility.
